My name is Kaz and I am the owner of HOUND Grooming Studio. I have been grooming for over eight years. My passion and love for animals is the driving force behind creating my very own grooming studio. I studied dog grooming at The Golden Paws Academy in Houston, Texas.
Once I finished my course I worked in Houston for two years gaining experience and exposure within the industry. I then moved back to Melbourne, which holds a special place in my heart and continued to prosper in the world of dog grooming.
Dog grooming is my greatest passion. I have acquired and perfected my skills grooming a variety of different coats. I enjoy creating unique cuts and have plenty of experience in doing so. If you have a vision I can make it happen. A personal favourite is a mohawk shaved very short on a cavoodle.
We know that every dog has individual needs.
Our furry friends can find grooming to be daunting, especially if they are new to it or have previous negative experiences. This is why we have developed a grooming experience that ensures your best friend’s happiness and wellbeing comes first. This means we take special care and work with you to tailor the experience to your dog’s individual needs. After all, every dog is unique.
Prior to each appointment, we like to have a chat with you and meet your best friend to discuss if they have any special needs such as:
Old age related issues
Aggression or fear of other dogs.

Ear infections
Any surgeries
Arthritis & Anxiety
We have a love for all animals!
Our passion for the ethical treatment of animals doesn’t stop at our dogs. We use only natural Australian made dehydrated treats, that your dog will enjoy. We also care deeply for the environment, which is why we use only Australian made products. All of our products are sulphate, paraben and palm oil-free, which makes them gentle on your dogs skin and the environment.
Plus your dog will smell incredible! At least until their next walk on the beach!
